Why is Women's Health Month important?

Women's Health Month is important because it is a time dedicated to improving the health and well-being of women in Florida. When women take even the simplest steps to improve their health, the results can be significant. Women's Health Month is a time to educate women about how they can lead healthy lifestyles and the importance of taking appropriate health actions based on individual background and risk factors.
