Determining Jurisdiction -- Number of Connections
Are there 15 or more connections intended to provide water
for human consumption?
If YES, then it is a public water system under the
jurisdiction of the Florida Safe Drinking Water Act and the Department
of Environmental Protection. For more information on Florida Safe
Drinking Water Act systems, we invite you to

If NO, then the next 2 criteria you will need to evaluate
are the amount of time and
the number of people
 that
are or will be served by the water system.
